20.000 homes wil benefit with power after the installation will be completed
According to Bloomberg, Tesla is building an energy store porject in the city of Angleton, 40 miles south of Houston. When complete, the 100MW installation will provide electricity aproximately for 20.000 homes. The site could begin operating as soon as the start of June this year based from what the Electric Reliability Council of Texas said.
For those who don’t remember back in 2017, Tesla built a 100MWh battery farm in South Australia. The timing for this project is not based on any luck mainly because of the very bad winter weatcher which left much of Texas without electricity.
